About Mont Belvieu

Mont Belvieu is located in southwestern Chambers County at (29.923891, -94.898257). It extends west into Liberty County and includes the community of Point Comfort within its city limits. The center of town is north of downtown Houston via Interstate 10 and State Highway 146, which runs through the center of town as Main Street before turning south to run along the western edge on its way to Baytown. According to the United States Census Bureau, Mont Belvieu has a total area of , all land except for a small parcel that was once part Lake Livingston but now holds several lakes including Lake Conroe North Shore Park and two private lakes owned by ExxonMobil Chemical Company: "Lake B" (formerly known as "Exxon Lakes") and "Lake C".
