The most recent, and deadliest tornado in the city's history was the May 20, 2013 Moore tornado. The Oklahoma City National Memorial at the site of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building is a memorial dedicated to those who died in its bombing on April 19, 1995. The outdoor Symbolic Memorial can be visited for free every day from 9:00 a.m.– 5:00 p.m., except on Christmas Day (December 25).
