About Argyle
The town of Argyle is located in the southeastern corner of Washington County and is bordered by Saratoga County to the south, Warren County to the east, and Rensselaer County to the north. The eastern boundary line with Rensselaer county follows a portion of Lake George. The western boundary line with Warren county runs along Cossayuna Creek from its confluence with Lake George at Fort Miller (in Saratoga Co.) until it reaches that lake's southern shoreline where it then continues westward along that shoreline until reaching Cossayuna Creek again near its source in northern Argyle.
