Suncook is located in the Merrimack River valley, between the Suncook and Pemigewasset rivers. New Hampshire Route 114 passes through the center of town, leading north to Concord and south to Manchester. Interstate 93 also passes through Suncook, with access at Exit 23 (NH 114) just north of town; I-93 leads northeast to Boston and southwest towards Concord. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the Suncook CDP has a total area of , all land except for two small ponds that are part of a riverfront park along NH 114 near its junction with NH 106A (Main Street). The CDP is bordered by Allenstown on three sides: across Main Street from downtown lies an unincorporated village called South Village; further east lie residential neighborhoods within Allenstown's borders; finally on its southern side lies another section known as "The Flats". The population density was 1,817 people per square mile (703/km²).
