Carmel was also ranked as the fourth best place to live in America according to Money magazine's 2017 rankings. Carmel is home to the Indianapolis Colts' training camp, and has been selected by Forbes as one of "America's Best Places To Raise A Family" for nine consecutive years (2006–2014). The city has a vibrant arts scene, including several art galleries and institutions such as the Carmel Arts Council which supports local artists. Carmel is primarily located in Hamilton County but small parts of it extend into Boone County and Madison County. Unincorporated communities within Carmel include Spring Mill Village, West Clay Township, Holliday Park Estates (also known locally simply as Holliday), Forest Hills Place (also known locally simply named Forest Hills) and others along 96th Street on either side of Main St/SR-37; Old Meridian Street between 106th street & 116th street; 126th Street between Hazel Dell Parkway & Rangeline Road; 136th St.
