The Snake River Canyon is a canyon carved by the Snake River in Idaho and Wyoming, United States. The canyon was formed when lava flows from nearby Yellowstone National Park flowed into the river's path and solidified. The river cut through these basalt layers over time to form its present-day course. Twin Falls County is a county located in the southeastern part of the U.S state of Idaho . As of 2016, its population was 66,846 [1] making it Idaho's third-most populous county after Ada County (Boise) and Canyon County . [2] Its seat is Twin Falls , which has about half of all residents; however most government offices are located at 801 S Main St., Suite 100 in Jerome , with additional offices at Twin Falls City Hall on College Street near downtown Twin Falls .
