About Roseville

Roseville is the third largest city in the Sacramento metropolitan area, behind Sacramento and Elk Grove. It is located immediately to the north of West Sacramento, California. The city serves as a bedroom community for many of the jobs in Northern California, including those in Silicon Valley which are only about an hour away by car on Interstate 80 or nearby State Route 237 and Interstate 680. The local newspaper is "The Roseville Press Tribune". A large portion of south-central Placer County (including Folsom) has been annexed into Roseville since 2000; making it one of America's fastest growing cities over 10,000 people per decade since that time period.
