About Tempe
Tempe was the location of US Airways Group's corporate headquarters until December 9, 2015 when US Airways and American Airlines merged to form American Airlines Group. The headquarters for the combined airline moved to Dallas–Fort Worth International Airport in Fort Worth, Texas. Tempe is also home to Arizona State University at Tempe (ASU), as well as a major campus of Arizona State University Polytechnic; Thunderbird School of Global Management; National Merit Scholar Corporation (NMSC); DeVry University and Pima Medical Institute are located in Tempe.
