The London Bridge crosses a channel that leads from Lake Havasu to Thompson Bay. The bridge was dismantled in 1967, and re-assembled across the lake from its original location. It was purchased by Robert P. McCulloch of McCulloch Oil Company, who then donated it to the city as a tourist attraction and historical landmark.
