About Mobile
In 2005, the Carnival celebrations moved to downtown Mobile. The city also hosts the Alabama Shakespeare Festival and Mobile Opera. It is home to several colleges and universities including University of South Alabama, Spring Hill College, a campus of Troy University (Mobile Campus), Faulkner University (Mobile Campus) and a branch campus for Auburn University as well as three public high schools: Murphy High School, B.C. Rain High School ,and Davidson High school .In addition there are numerous private Catholic prep schools located in or near the city such as St Paul's Episcopal Academy ,St James Catholic Prep(boys), Saint Francis de Sales(girls) etc..
