About Ruvo di Puglia

Ruvo is located in the south-eastern corner of the province of Bari, near Molfetta and close to Martina Franca. It lies on a hill at an altitude between 70 and 90 metres above sea level. The town's territory extends from the Murge plateau down to the plain below; it covers an area of about 20 km², but its urban centre occupies only 0.6 km² (about 1/10). The municipality borders with Bitonto, Corato, Giovinazzo (BA), Gravina in Puglia (BA), Minervino di Lecce and Triggiano.[1] Its hamlets are Caggiano,[2] Casalnuovo,[3] Castelnuovo delle Murge[4], Cerreto Grue[5], Gioia del Colle,[6][7][8][9] San Michele Salentino [10].
