The climate of Bhojpur is characterised by high temperatures during summer and low temperatures during winter with adequate rainfall in between these periods. During summer, temperature reaches up to 45 °C at noon while minimum temperature remains around 25 °C at night, but sometimes it may fall below 20 °C . In winter season, maximum temperature remains around 10-15 degrees Celsius while minimum stays 5-6 degrees Celsius . Rainfall occurs mostly during monsoon season from June to September when average precipitation can be 150–200 cm per year.
