About Kharghar

Kharghar is well connected to Mumbai and Navi Mumbai by road. The Eastern Express Highway (NH-3) passes through Kharghar. It is also connected with the rest of Maharashtra via NH-4 which passes through Panvel city, a part of Navi Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The nearest railway stations are Vashi and Nerul on the Harbour Line of the Central Railway network, both about 15 km away from Kharghar in opposite directions; as well as Sanpada station on Harbour Line of CR at a distance around 10 km from it towards south east direction . The proposed new railway line between Belapur - Uran will pass near to this area connecting all major cities like Thane, Kalyan , Dombivali etc., making it easier for people living in this region to travel long distances without changing trains or traveling far away from their homes..
