About Taliparamba
Taliparamba is located at 12.36°N 75.87°E.[1] It has an average elevation of 1 metres (3 feet). Taliparamba is a coastal town on the Arabian Sea, in Kannur district of Kerala state in south India. The name comes from tali which means "coast" and parambu which means "place". The municipality was formed on August 17, 1978 with four villages: Chirakkal, Korom , Peravoor and Taliparamba .[2] On January 25th 1984 it included Gokulamandala village also .
