About Jamnagar

Jamnagar is home to the Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology (DA-IICT), one of India's most prestigious engineering colleges. It is also home to the Indian Institute of Management – Gujarat (IIM-G) which was ranked as No 1 business school in India by Business World Magazine. The city has a number of public and private schools, including Kendriya Vidyalaya, Sardar Patel Vidhyalaya, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya etc., providing education up to higher secondary level; Jamnagar has many reputed institutions like St Xavier's High School & Junior College for boys and girls respectively at Kirti nagar area in Jamnagar City itself with its branches spread across whole district. There are several other good schools such as Doon Public School having branches all over state like Rajkot , Porbandar , Bhuj etc..
