Geography of Guntur Guntur is located at 16.8°N 80.7°E / 16.8; 80.7 and has an average elevation of 43 metres (141 feet). The city lies on the Eastern Coastal Plains, between the Eastern Ghats and Bay of Bengal in Andhra Pradesh, India. It is situated 64 kilometres (40 mi) to the west of Bay Of Bengal, on a plain sloping down towards it.
