About Dimos Mykonos

He has won the first place in the 10000 meters cross country competition twice and he is a 3 times winner of the 5000 metres cross country competition. He has won 4 times in 1500 metres, 2 times on 3000m steeplechase and once on 10 000m race. In addition to this, he was awarded as best athlete for his home town Komotini during 2004-2005 season by Greek Athletic Federation (SEGAS). He started running at age 12 when his father took him to train with Panagiotis Tzouvaras who used to be an international runner himself. Dimosthenis Magginas is a member of AOK Mykonos athletic team since December 2016 after leaving Olympiacos athletic team where he had been training from 2002 until 2016 . He lives in Athens with wife Anna Kontoulioti whom he married on July 2017 .
