About Équennes-Éramecourt
Geography [ edit ] The commune is situated on the D938 road, some 10 miles (16 km) southwest of Abbeville. The river Authie flows through the commune and forms part of its northern border. The village was destroyed during World War I.[1] It has been rebuilt since then but with a different orientation to that which it had previously.[2] There are two cemeteries in the commune: one containing Commonwealth war graves and another French military cemetery. In addition there is also a memorial to those who died in both wars.
