Montgolfier (French pronunciation: [mɔ̃ɡɔlˈfje]) is a commune in the Hautes-Alpes department in southeastern France. Montgomeryshire or Montgomeryshire (Welsh: Sir Drefaldwyn, pronounced [sir ˈdreːvalfjʊn], "Sir The Vale of Glamorgan") is one of thirteen historic counties and a former administrative county of Wales. It was originally an early medieval kingdom, but today its territory mostly lies within the boundaries of Powys and Wrexham County Boroughs with small parts within Denbighshire, Conwy County Borough and Shropshire Council areas. Its area has been administered as part of either Herefordshire or Shropshire since 1542; for some purposes it forms part of Wales rather than England.
