Geography [ edit ] Grand Bourgtheroulde is located on the left bank of the Seine, opposite Rouen. It lies in a meander of the river and is surrounded by agricultural land. The commune has an area of 5.8 km2 (2 sq mi),[1] with a population density of 1,719 inhabitants per square kilometre (4,542/sq mi).[3] Its altitude varies between 10 m at its lowest point to 56 m at its highest point.[1][4] The town hall and main church are situated in Infreville.[5][6] In addition to Grand-Bourgtheroulde itself there are two other villages within this commune: Petit-Bourgtheroulde which lies about 2 kilometres (1 mile) south west from Grand-Bourgtherouldel;[7][8]:p58 and La Bouille which sits just across from Petit Bourgthérouldes on the north bank.
