About Limoges

The city of Limoges is a place with strong traditions from the beginning of the 20th century. The French automobile manufacturer Peugeot has chosen Limoges as its main industrial site, one that employs about 3,800 people and which will provide over €200 million to the region in 2017. Its activity spread on several sites in and around Limoges: "Aulnat", "Saint-Junien" (electrical equipment), "Beaulieu" (mechanical equipment) and finally at Sallanches near Annecy since 2013 where it produces all types of vehicles except for heavy trucks. With more than 12000 employees, PSA Peugeot Citroën is now one of the largest employers in western France; it also provides many services such as finance or logistics to other companies like Renault or Volkswagen through its subsidiary Comau who specialise themselves into manufacturing automation systems for car production lines among others.
