Clamart is served by Clamart station on Paris RER line A. There are eight primary schools in the commune: Henri-Barbusse, Joliot-Curie, Romain-Rolland, Foch (mixed), Pasteur (mixed), Curie (girls only) and Jean Jaurès. There are two junior high schools: Les Mercuriales and Gabriel Faure. The school system in Clamart is well known for its good results at national levels as it has been ranked highly among all French communes since 1998 according to various criteria including the number of students who obtain their baccalauréat with a mention très bien or bien plus ("very well" or "well above average"), which often leads to selective admission at prestigious universities such as Sciences Po Paris for example .
