Terrebonne is home to the Rivière des Mille-Îles, which has a length of . The river flows from Lake St. Louis and empties into Lac des Deux-Montagnes in Laval. The city's territory also includes part of Lake Terrebonne, an artificial lake created by the Gouin Dam on the Des Prairies River.
