About Saint-Constant
The city was founded in 1871 and is named after the first parish established in 1799. It is situated on a plateau that overlooks the Saint Lawrence River, at an altitude of above sea level. The city's motto "Terra Incognita" means unknown land or unexplored territory. Saint-Constant has two schools: École secondaire de l'Île (English: Island Secondary School) and École primaire du Sacré-Coeur (Sacred Heart Primary School).
