About Moncton
Moncton is home to the University of Moncton, Crandall University, New Brunswick Community College and the Atlantic Superstore (the largest shopping centre in Atlantic Canada). The downtown has seen a significant amount of growth and redevelopment in the past few years. A new arts complex at Market Square (opened on June 1st 2012) features an art gallery, theatre space for live performances as well as studio spaces for artists-in-residence. The city hosts the annual Harvest Jazz & Blues Festival every fall which attracts regional and international jazz and blues artists.
