About La Cumbre
The town is located in the Punilla Valley, at the foot of Cerro de la Cumbre, from which it takes its name. It lies on National Route 38 and is connected by road to Villa María (to the north) and Tafí del Valle (to the south). The area's economy has traditionally been based on agriculture; however, tourism has become increasingly important since 2000.
